 Chris
Nye is a professional software architect, database design and administrator, and
web developer by day.
By night he is an aspiring author, roleplaying game aficionado, musician, and
game developer.
He is fond of heavy metal music, preferring bands such as Metallica, Megadeth,
Iron Maiden, Amon Amarth, Nightwish, Dio, and Manowar. He is also fond of
irish folk music and classical music. He has been involved with many bands
since settling in Louisville, Kentucky in 1997, and is currently involved in a
power metal project that involves a lot of theatrics.
Chris is currently attempting to write his first novel, a fictionaly dark
fantasy piece about ghouls, dark magic, science fiction, and theology. The
first three chapters can be downloaded from this website.
Chris runs two gaming groups throughout the week, playing Dungeons and Dragons
4th edition. One is a group that meets weekly at his house. The
other is a group that meets online.
He is also attempting to code an old school MUD based loosely on the Warhammer
40k universe.
